1. About Doar Agora
Doar Agora is a technology platform by Neexo Tecnologia, a brand of BRVOZ Neexo Technology e Telecomunicações LTDA, created to facilitate registrations, communications and digital fundraising for churches, parishes and institutions.
The platform may be used for journeys such as member registration, tithes, donations, Mass intentions, campaigns, confirmations, receipts, reminders, operational notices and other features configured by the responsible institution.
By accessing or using the platform, the user states that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service and to the applicable Privacy Policy.
2. Role of Neexo and the institution
Neexo provides the technology, public pages, administrative dashboard, registration features, payment integrations, communication features, infrastructure and tools that support the institution’s digital operation.
The registered institution is responsible for the information shown on its page, the fundraising purpose, its pastoral, administrative or community relationship with members and contributors, the proper allocation of the amounts received and the messages it chooses to send through the platform.
When the platform is used on behalf of a specific church, parish or institution, that institution is responsible for keeping its information, campaigns, contact details, amounts, texts, communication templates and sending permissions properly configured and updated.
3. Registration, access and responsibility for information
- Users must provide true, complete and up-to-date information when registering, making a contribution, submitting a Mass intention, participating in a campaign, contacting the platform or otherwise interacting with it.
- Registration may involve data such as name, date of birth, WhatsApp, email, pastoral group, contributor number, suggested contribution amount and other information requested by the institution or required for the service.
- Access to portal areas may require validation by temporary code, validation link, WhatsApp, email or another available security mechanism.
- Users are responsible for keeping their phone number, WhatsApp and email up to date. Incorrect information may prevent codes, receipts, payment links and other communications from being delivered.
- Using third-party data without authorization, creating false registrations, interfering with platform security, trying to access restricted areas or engaging in any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive conduct is prohibited.
4. Communications by WhatsApp, email and digital channels
The platform may send communications by WhatsApp, email and other digital channels, directly by Neexo or by the institution, according to the service configuration and applicable permissions.
These communications may include access codes, registration validation, payment links, Pix, QR Codes, payment confirmations, receipts, tithe or donation reminders, campaign notices, birthday messages, support, security and other messages related to the use of the platform.
Messages sent through WhatsApp may use Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, including approved message templates when required. Users may request the interruption of non-essential communications, without prejudice to messages strictly necessary for security, authentication, compliance with a legal obligation or execution of a request made by the user.
The institution must respect unsubscribe, stop, block or do-not-contact requests where applicable.
5. Payments, Pix, receipts and confirmations
Payments may be processed by Pix, QR Code, copy-and-paste Pix, payment links, banking integrations or financial providers configured for the institution.
Payment confirmation depends on the processing of the financial provider used. Receipts, statuses and notifications may vary according to the configuration of the institution, bank or gateway.
The institution is responsible for its refund, cancellation, accountability, own receipt issuance, fundraising purpose and any tax or accounting treatment of the amounts received.
Neexo is not the final recipient of amounts raised for the institution, unless expressly indicated on a specific page or agreement.
6. Campaigns, Mass intentions and third-party data
Campaigns, Mass intentions and specific features may have their own fields, rules and texts displayed on screen before confirmation. When a specific campaign acceptance is shown, the user must read the text presented before completing participation.
When users provide data about another person, such as in referrals, intentions, tributes, campaigns or third-party contacts, they must do so only in a legitimate way, compatible with the purpose presented and without abusive use.
For WhatsApp referrals, the indicated person may receive an initial message identifying the institution and the access link, and may ignore it or request not to receive further contacts.
7. Acceptable use and security
- Users may not try to bypass validations, temporary codes, attempt limits, anti-fraud controls, security records or administrative permissions.
- Users may not submit offensive, discriminatory, unlawful, misleading or abusive content, or content that violates third-party rights or compromises the reputation of the institution, the platform or other users.
- Neexo may block, suspend, limit or record misuse attempts when necessary to protect the platform, users, institutions and third parties.
- The institution is responsible for properly controlling access by its administrators, operators and internal administrative users.
8. Integrations and third-party services
The platform may depend on third-party services such as hosting providers, banks, payment gateways, WhatsApp Business Platform, email services, security services, storage, logs, digital certificates and other technical integrations.
Unavailability, delay, rejection, rule changes, blocking, technical failure or limitation by these third parties may temporarily affect message sending, payments, confirmations or other platform features.
9. Availability, changes and improvements
Neexo may update, correct, improve, remove or change platform features to enhance security, performance, usability, compliance, integrations or service operation.
Although technical efforts are made to keep the platform available, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, internet failures, external integrations, third-party unavailability, security incidents, force majeure or events outside Neexo’s reasonable control.
These Terms may be updated periodically. The update date will be indicated on this page.
10. Privacy and data protection
The processing of personal data related to platform use is described in the Doar Agora Privacy Policy, including information about registration data, payments, WhatsApp, email, logs, data subject rights and contact channels for privacy requests.
Because this platform is used by churches, parishes and institutions, some information may reveal religious affiliation, participation, interest, contribution or community interaction. Such data must be handled with enhanced care by Neexo, the institution and the processors involved.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms of Service, privacy, security, communications or platform operation may be sent through the official contact channels available on the Doar Agora website or through the responsible institution.
